Yesterday marked the 100 day countdown to the London 2012 Paralympic Games which will be held August 29 through September 9.

The 2012 US Paralympic Trials will be held at IUPUI from June 29 to July 1. Approximately 200 athletes are expected to participate, which will ultimately determine the final selections for the Track & Field Team that will compete in London. The Michael A. Carroll Stadium was chosen because it mimics the same track surface that the athletes will be racing on at the London 2012 games.

Ryan is a budding artist in our Adult Day Center. He participates in the transitional skills program where he learns independent living and vocational skills such as basic math, laundry, cooking, and cleaning. He was recently introduced to the melted crayon art activity that you may have seen on blogs or the popular online pinboard site Pinterest, which is where Kate Eickstead, activity director for the Adult Day Center, found the project. Both Kate and Ryan shared the process with us so we can inspire you to create your own melted crayon art!
