Caring Bunny is hopping into Washington Square Mall for children with special needs and their families on Sunday April 1, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event will be held prior to mall opening, so that accommodations can be made to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of all guests.

The recent tornados in Henryville, Indiana, have caused massive damage to schools, homes and government facilities across the area. Our colleagues in the Clark County Special Education Cooperative are attempting to meet the unique needs of their students with disabilities as well as their families. Kristi Jordan, OTR and Coordinator of Autism Spectrum Disorder Services, tells us that they “have nothing!” What remains in their schools is a total loss.

Paul is a very dynamic, inquisitive 7-year old who receives therapy services at Easter Seals Crossroads. At a recent appointment, Paul expressed interest in describing his “home-office” to his occupational therapist, Karrie Veteto and his speech therapist, Tyler Napier. Paul wondered which person at Easter Seals Crossroads had the largest office; he was told that perhaps it was the President/CEO of Easter Seals Crossroads – James Vento.
