Since 1990, Easter Seals Crossroads has produced a holiday ornament that commemorates an Indianapolis landmark. Sold as a fundraiser, these ornaments have raised over $10,000 each year to support critical services for children and adults with disabilities. 2013's Holiday Ornament is of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Some of the ornaments have sold out, but we do have limited quantities of our past ornaments available for purchase. These ornaments are sold at $10.00 a piece and amounts over $6.50 are tax deductible. Read the blog to learn about how to purchase a past ornament.

The New York Times recently published "The Architecture of Autism," referencing that children with autism will inevitably become adults with autism, leaving many questions from parents on care and support unanswered. Easter Seals' 2008 study found that 79% of young adults with autism continue to live with their parents, while a more recent Sibling Study by Easter Seals found that 1/3 of siblings provide financial support for their brother/sister with a disability and are most commonly the primary caregiver (81%).

While Easter Seals Crossroads believes that each child and adult is an individual, we offer several programs and services that can assist adults with autism and their primary caregivers - read the blog for more information.

Trade School Indianapolis is a new concept brought to Indianapolis by two young people who identify themselves as life-long learners. Instead of paying for classes with money, teachers ask for basic items from their students. Anyone can teach a class, and anyone can attend.

This Saturday, October 12, Trade School Indianapolis has designated Easter Seals Crossroads as the recipient of bartered goods from their Letter Writing Social. Read more here:
