Indiana residents have witnessed anywhere between 6 to 12 inches of snow and negative temperatures this past week, leaving many in need of assistance with getting out of their homes. Snow plows clear main roads and some side streets, but many people cannot physically shovel their own driveways or sidewalks or navigate the frozen terrain without effective snow removal policies from their city.

Bryan has been a care provider in our Parent's Night Out program at Easter Seals Crossroads for the past two years. Parents’ Night Out provides the opportunity for parents or caregivers to enjoy an evening out while their child(ren) with special needs enjoy time with peers in a safe, secure and fun environment. Parents’ Night Out takes place at locations throughout the city on Friday nights.

Recently, Operation: Job Ready Veterans moved into our building on the 4th
floor in the space that was previously occupied by the Assistive Technology Division. They are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preparing veterans for successful employment by connecting them with employers that seek top quality, well trained men and women for their workforce. OJRV makes a personal connection and assists veterans of all ability levels with their employment and career goals.
