Organized in 1955, the Guild is a vital part of the agency.
It is the goal of the Guild to help the children of Easter Seals Crossroads reach their full potential, and to enrich and make a difference in their lives with compassion and respect for differences in abilities through volunteer service, staff support, promotion of Crossroads' values and services, the education and socialization of Guild members, and fundraising.
Our meetings take place generally the third Tuesday of every month at either Easter Seals Crossroads main building or a point of interest that is determined annually. Often these meetings are held in conjunction with an interesting topic that may include a trip to another location and/or a speaker, along with a luncheon.
Annual Guild events and opportunities
Christmas Gift & Hobby Show Booth
The Guild sells crafts that have been created by members throughout the year. All proceeds from the Gift and Hobby Show support programs for children at Easter Seals Crossroads.
Summer Day Camps
Volunteer opportunities include working directly with children as they enjoy activities such as horseback riding, field trips, crafts, fishing and more.
Family Fun Day
Family Fun Days are held annually or biannually on a Saturday. The event is an opportunity for families to participate in a number of activities and crafts including free book distribution, hayrides and snacks. Family Fun Days are open to families who have a child with a special need or disability.
Guild members often meet on Monday mornings to either prepare for or create various handmade items that are sold throughout the year to provide funds to further support programs for children at Easter Seals Crossroads.
